ICOS Satellite Workshop at EUROSOI-ULIS 2025

ICOS is pleased to announce that it will be holding a side Workshop during the EUROSOI-ULIS Conference in Warsaw on May 12-13th 2025. The Workshop will be devoted to the following presentations:

International economic analysis and gaps in value chains,
Critical needs for future technologies,
Research topics and frameworks for international cooperation,
Standardisation in emerging technologies.

18th Smart Systems Integration Conference

The Smart Systems Integration Conference is organized in Prague on April 8-10. The conference is covering the value chain from System on Chip via System in Package to System Applications – including hardware and software aspects. The conference connects participants from academia and industry as well as policy and decision makers. The three-day event is commonly organized by Fraunhofer ENAS together with the European Association on Smart Systems Integration–EPoSS to link technology and policy aspects in one event, while Silicon Saxony technically supports the conference organization.

ECS Brokerage Event 2025
The ECS Brokerage Event combines the brokerage activities of the industry associations AENEAS, EPoSS and INSIDE into one networking event dedicated to project proposals for the new Chips JU Calls 2025. This event gathers the ECS community around project ideas, allowing it to network, build consortia and start creating project proposals.

AEIT Webinar on chip revolution
The Trentino-Alto Adige section of AEIT, together with the Universities of Trento and Bolzano, has organized on Friday November 22nd a Webinar on "Chips Revolution: La crisi delle forniture e il ruolo cruciale di tecnologia e politica per un futuro digitale." The Webinar has taken place between 14:15 and 17:30 at the Aula Magna of IISS G.Galilei in via Cadorna, Bolzano.

INSIDE Thematic Workshop: Envisioning tomorrow's innovation projects

INSIDE is delighted to invite you to the second edition of the INSIDE Thematic Workshops. After the very successful event in Budapest, we are now continuing this initiative in deep diving into technology, identifying critical domains and new project ideas. AEIT Annual Conference 2024

During the AEIT2024 International Annual Conference 2024, which took place in Trento, on September 25-27, two special sessions have been dedicated to European programmes for Semiconductors and Photonics, in the afternoon of the 27th. The first session included presentations by the Chips JU office and DG CONNECT, while the second one was focussed on the Italian Programmes. Presentations will be available shortly.

ICOS Workshop at ESSERC 2024
A Workshop, jointly organised by ICOS with the INPACE project and the SiNANO Institute, has taken place in Bruges on Sept 9. morning (9:30-13:00). The theme of the Workshop was: “ Emerging technologies in Advanced Computation, Advanced Functionalities, Ground-breaking Technologies: Impact on International Cooperation”. A special session dedicated to the ICOS project has been held in occasion of SIE 2024, the 55th Annual Meeting of the Italian Society of Electronics (SIE).
